Welcome!

Wesley H. Cannon
Chief of Police

The City of Byron is a great place to live and to conduct business. Byron is fortunate in that it continues to offer a friendly, small town atmosphere while growing at an astonishing rate.

With the presence of I-75, there is an opportunity for a large number of visitors to stop and see the many benefits and opportunities our city has to offer. It seems as though new houses and businesses are being added every few days, and there is no doubt that our population continues to grow.

The Byron Police Department is committed to growing along with the community. Our goal is to provide a safe and friendly environment for all of its residents and visitors. To do so requires continuous effort -- and the Byron Police Department is up to the challenge.

It is our commitment to maintain a well-trained, knowledgeable, and efficient police force that will accomplish this goal and be able to change to meet future needs.

Please let me know if there is any way for your police department to better serve and protect you. Thank you.
